Evil has excellent taste

Malrec is an archwizard, an immaculate dresser, and the sole occupant of a 41-storey basalt tower.

The robe enters first

Malrec dresses for the room he intends to conquer. Usually, it is already his room.

    Void-silk mantle

12 metres at the hem. Drinks candlelight. Never catches on a door, because doors know better.

  2. 02

    Meteor-iron collar

Cut from the object that ended the First Garden. Kept unpolished for provenance.

    Obsidian staff

2.4 metres, one piece, no visible join. Mostly carried for the silhouette.

The hat is 94 centimetres tall. Any shorter would read as hesitation.

41 floors of menace

Basalt outside. Impractical luxury inside. Select a floor to inspect the decisions.

The whole residence

The tower rises directly from the ravine wall. Pick a floor to bring one private room forward without losing sight of the whole thing.

Minor proofs of superiority

The tower is the large gesture. The ledger records the details that make lesser sorcerers quietly leave.

If the tower is lit, admire it from the valley. If Malrec wants your attention, every mirror in your house will tell you.

Nothing here is for sale. Malrec simply thought you should see it.
